With FRITZ!WLAN Stick AC 860 Edition International, AVM is providing you with a new, especially powerful wireless LAN adapter for wireless connections to the FRITZ!Box or any other wireless LAN access point. The implemented Wireless AC standard and the powerful USB 3.0 interface provide for ultra-fast connections at rates of up to 866 Mbit/s (5 GHz). The even greater range and the especially stable radio connections turn the compact FRITZ!WLAN Stick AC 860 into a WiFi powerhouse in the home network.

Wireless surfing at record speed
The FRITZ!WLAN Stick AC 860 is the perfect supplement to all FRITZ!Box models with Wireless AC, like the FRITZ!Box 7490, 6490 and 3490. The stick also supports all older wireless standards, making it ideal for wireless connections to all common routers. With transmission speeds of up to 866 Mbit/s in the AC standard, the new WiFi Stick achieves data rates several times higher than older-generation wireless adapters. Thanks to modern radio technology it also increases the range considerably. Since Wireless N at rates of up to 300 Mbit (2.4 GHz) can be used as an alternative, maximum flexibility during operation is guaranteed.

Automatic security with Stick & Surf and WPS
Thanks to the unique AVM Stick & Surf technology, computers automatically receive a secure connection to the FRITZ!Box. After brief insertion in the USB port of the FRITZ!Box, the stick adopts all of the settings needed for the network. Then simply insert it in the computer to establish a secure wireless LAN connection. Alternatively, with routers from other manufacturers, the connection can be set up using WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup).

Easy installation in seconds
The FRITZ!WLAN Stick AC 860 stands out for its compact design, configurable transmission power, and for how easy it is to start operation. No CD drivers are needed on the computer. After the FRITZ!WLAN Stick is inserted into the USB port, it installs itself automatically in all of the latest Windows versions (Windows 10/8/7 [64/32-bit] and Vista [32-bit]). Its two LEDs keep you informed about existing wireless connections and network activity.
